Volkswagen Auto-Sleeper T25 / T3 Trident Camper Model History
Circa 1988 Auto-Sleepers introduced the T25 / T3 Volkswagen Autosleeper Trident Camper. It had a solid high top roof. It was a direct replacement for the Autosleeper VHT Hightop camper and had a similar but improved specification. The interior had cupboards along the side behind the drivers seat and the rear seat converted into a 3/4 width double bed. It was based on the modified VW T25 / T3 platform that could be distinguished from the earlier version by its rectangular twin headlights. Note: As the new model was phased in a few models were made with the older round headlight VW Transporter as the base model but with the new Autosleeper Trident fittings and decals.
